New Brunswick Strategic Plan Update

May 20, 2014

Members of the New Brunswick Campus Community:

I am writing to inform you that President Barchi has agreed that the deadline for completion of the New Brunswick Strategic Plan will be moved from June 1 to September 1. We will use the additional time to include material from the individual school plans, as appropriate; to consult with the RBHS Chancellor and determine where our plans and initiatives overlap; and to reexamine the over 130 proposals we have received to see which possess enough similarities to have those individuals involved meet to produce a combined stronger proposal. In the coming weeks, we will provide more information regarding funding some of the priority proposals.

These additional few months will enable us to produce a plan that we will be proud of, and that will chart the course for the development of the New Brunswick Campus for the future. Within the next few weeks we will be posting a draft of the plan on the New Brunswick Strategic Planning website for your review and comment.

I thank you for your involvement in the plan’s development to date, and look forward to continuing to work with you to produce a final document that will guide our campus for the next several years.
